Internships

A variety of internship opportunities are available. Students in the AECT program have completed internships in business and industry, healthcare, not-for-profits, and public schools and higher education.

For students wishing to acquire Instructional Technology Specialist certification, an internship in a public school or intermediate unit is required. An individual wishing to complete an internship as part of his or her degree program should become familiar with IUP's graduate internship policy and discuss internship options with his or her adviser.
