Welcome to IUP`S Doctoral Program in Administration and Leadership Studies

This doctoral program is designed  to enhance the administrative skills of public school leaders and college administrators.

In addition to the tuition and fees listed in the brochure , a one-time-only program fee of $1,300 is assessed to cover program evaluation expenses, fall retreats, speakers, associated clerical fees, processing expenses, and supplies.

The Administration and Leadership Studies program offers a rich mixture to enhance administrative skills.

Superintendent Vacancy

United School District (Indiana County) is accepting applications for the position of Superintendent of Schools.  Candidates must possess integrity; effective communication skills; expertise in strategic planning; knowledge of educational and organizational leadership; show evidence of working well with board, staff, and community leaders; and demonstrate an understanding of labor relations, finance, grant writing, curriculum and assessment, and state/federal mandates.  Salary will be regionally competitive and commensurate with experience.  Candidates must have a Letter of Eligibility and a minimum of five years administrative experience.  Send a letter of interest, resume, application, three letters of recommendation, clearances, transcripts and a copy of certification to Dr. Kathy Myers Wunder, Superintendent and Search Committee Facilitator, United School District, 10780 Route 56 Hwy.
