Program Highlights

  • The Doctor of Education in C&I (D.Ed.) prepares teacher educators for college and university settings.
  • The program emphasizes four main components: educational theory, teacher education, curriculum evaluation, and research methods.
  • The program is designed to accommodate students' work schedules. All classes meet on Saturdays except for five Fridays and Saturdays in the summer.
  • Doctoral candidates remain as a cohort as they progress through all coursework.
  • Doctoral candidates work with nationally and internationally recognized professors in their areas of expertise.

·         All applicants must take a 1 ½ hour On-line Writing Sample; and submit a five minute, research-based video with References. Applicants will be contacted via e-mail once their On-line Applications are completed and made available to the department.
