The CCAC/IUP Collaborative
Elementary Education Program is a unique, highly competitive daytime program
that leads to the CCAC (Community College of Allegheny County) Associate Degree
in Teacher Education and the IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) Bachelor
of Science Degree in Elementary Education. The program is designed for students
committed to teaching in urban public schools. Helping students meet future
challenges in teacher education, the program emphasizes the diverse issues that
influence education in kindergarten though sixth grade. There are specific
requirements for application, admission and retention in the program. |
