Duties of the Officers according to the SPAN Constitution:

The President shall be an enrolled graduate student in the Educational and School Psychology Department at IUP and shall maintain good academic standings as defined by the department and the university.  The President shall preside over meetings, initiate committees, and appoint committee chairpersons.  The President shall have the power to fill any vacancies that may occur subject to a majority vote of the membership.

The Vice-President shall assume the duties of the President in her/his absence or if s/he is incapable of performing said duties.  The Vice-President will also maintain summaries of all organization activities.

The Secretary shall record the minutes of all meetings of the organization and distribute the minutes within seven (7) days of the meeting.  The secretary shall also take attendance at each meeting.

The Treasurer shall collect and be responsible for all funds.  The treasurer shall maintain a budget for the organization and present an itemized account of the condition of the budget at all regularly scheduled meetings.
