Minor in Educational Psychology

An Educational Psychology Minor is a program designed: to give a better understanding of the intellectual and physical aspects of behavior problems encountered in the typical classroom environment and education-related services; to increase professional effectiveness; to look into major problems facing the adolescent today; to prepare one to solve problems in teaching.
Educational Psychology can be helpful in complementing an educator's work in coping with classroom situations. Understanding human behavior is a major part of a teacher's job. Educational Psychology can help one understand, predict, and control behavior in learning situations.
An Educational
Psychology Minor is a good preparation for those considering a graduate program
in School Psychology or Guidance Counseling.
