Supervisor of Pupil Services Certification

The Supervisor of Pupil Services Certificate: Overview

As part of its mission to serve the needs of Pennsylvania’s schools in providing a cadre of highly trained professionals, the Department of Educational and School Psychology offers a certification program in the area of Supervisor of Pupil Services. Candidates who are recommended for this certificate must: 1) hold a valid educational specialist or instructional certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE); 2) complete the coursework and practica/internships; 3) meet the requirement for years of experience as stipulated by PDE for this certificate; and 4) meet or exceed the passing score for the PRAXIS tests that are designated by PDE for this certificate.
