Dr. Mary Lou Conroy

Mary Lou has worked as a school psychologist in Western Pennsylvania for over fifteen years.  She has presented at national, state, and local conferences on topics such as data-driven decision making, development and implementation of a response-to-intervention model, use of progress monitoring within the general education curriculum, DIBELS implementation, and instructional and behavioral interventions and strategies.  In the Pittsburgh area, Mary Lou has provided consultation to administrators and teachers regarding research-based instructional/behavioral interventions that support student achievement in the general education curriculum.  She is currently the past-president of the Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania (ASPP).  Mary Lou received an MA in education from St. Joseph’s University and earned her doctorate in school psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.

Rene' Fetchkan

Rene' Fetchkan has been a certified school psychologist for twenty years, having received her Masters degree and School Psychology certification from IUP.  She has returned to her studies, and is currently a doctoral student at IUP while also working for the ARIN Intermediate Unit, providing school psychological services to schools in Indiana County.  Rene' has had many work experiences across the state, working in at least seven different positions and having district responsibilities for counseling, assessment, and coordination of special educations programs.  Rene' currently serves the profession as an executive board member of both the Association of School Psychologists of PA (ASPP) and the Department of Pupil Services of the Pennsylvania State Education Association (DPS/PSEA), as she serves as President of the School PSychologists Section in DPS/PSEA.  Of all her current activities, she is enjoying her students and the teaching in her section of Educational Psychology.
