Damiani, Ed.D., NCSP is a
professor of educational and school psychology
at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and director of the IUP Center
for Gifted Education. She is past
president of the Association of School Psychologists of PA and author
of Crisis Prevention and Intervention: What
Teachers Should Know, published in 2006 by Rowman and
Littlefield. Her professional
interests include gifted education, school crisis intervention, and
families of
exceptional children. Before joining the
faculty at IUP, Dr. Damiani was coordinator of psychological and
outreach
services at the Center for Gifted Education at the College of William
and Mary.
