Responsibilities
-
responsible for the technology infrastructure of the College of Education
and Educational Technology
-
responsible for evaluating, selecting, procuring, installing, and managing
state-of-the-art technology for use by administrators, faculty, staff and
students and service constituents of the College of Education and Educational
Technology
-
responsible for day-to-day operations of all computing laboratories housed
in the College of Education and Educational Technology
-
responsible for all of the computing and communications equipment housed
in the classrooms, labs, offices, and auditorium of the College of Education
and Educational Technology
-
supervise the technology staff workers and well as technicians and student
workers who install, monitor, and maintain the equipment and software of
the College of Education and Educational Technology
-
direct and train students in the Portfolio Assistance Center and coordinate the
overall functioning of the Portfolio Assistance Center in the College of Education
and Educational Technology
-
assist in evaluating academic information technology needs and strategies
for the College of Education of Educational Technology and technology interface
requirements between the College of Education and Educational Technology
and the University community
-
represent the College of Education and Educational Technology on a wide
range of committees related to information and communications technology
- chair of the University Emerging Technologies Committee
- building manager for Stouffer and Davis Halls
