ARTJAM: The Pittsburgh Children's
Hospital Benefit Concert
ARTJAM 2004: The Ohio Room
We weren't sure exactly what we were doing when we planned this
out,
but we figured it out relatively quickly. We just tossed this idea
around last summer,
saying "What if" and that turned into "Here We Go!" And so
we did it,
and the outcome was great! We had four bands for our first show,
and they were:
Coleton Regal from the Student Painters, The Vicars, The Marauders,
and the Mad Cows. Unfortunately, we had to close the show down
early because the music
and dancing were a little hardcore for the HUB security guard. On
a lighter note, we raised more than $500 for art supplies for the Pittsburgh Children's Hospital, and
we had a great time!

ARTBASH 2005: The Chevy Chase
Community Center
We were a little more prepared for this show, but we still had
one major hang-up......They told
us the night before the show that we couldn't use the Center! Due
to some problems with other shows,
the CCCC decided all of a sudden that IUP groups weren't
trustworthy. Well, it took a few hours
of convincing, but the CCCC finally gave in! We NEVER want to go
through that again!
Anyway, it turned out to be a wicked show, and we made another $500 for
the Hospital.
