First-Time Visitor

Welcome to the Department of Communications Media’s Internship website. Students must intern in the summer of their junior or senior year. On these pages you will find answers to some questions you may have about the internship program. To help you navigate the Internship page, here is a list of pages that may be beneficial to your particular situation:

High School:
If you are a high school student, the parent of a high school student, or if you are a transfer student, try the "Internship Program Within COMM" section of our website. 

Freshman/Sophmore:
If you are a Communications major in your Freshman or Sophomore year, you may want to check out the "When Do I Intern?" section of this site.

Junior/Senior:
If you are a student planning on interning this summer, the "Need Help Finding A COMM Internship" section can be very helpful if you are still unsure as to where you would like to do your internship. 

Graduate:
Graduates seeking employment or furthering their education should look at the "Employment After An Internship" or "Advanced Study After An Internship" section.

Additional Information:
If you are interested in seeing some of the sites we are affiliated with, you can find this information in our "Affiliated Sites (Sampling)" section. If you are an organization or small business  interested in becoming affiliated with us, you may find the "Becoming an Internship Site" section beneficial.
