Intern Program Within COMM

Our internship program is an opportunity for students to work in their chosen field during the summer of their junior or senior year while receiving University credits. Students are required to complete an internship before graduation. The IUP internship program is among the largest out of all state-owned Universities. We place approximately 120 students in different agencies, businesses, and bureaus annually. Because the Internship experience is a core requirement for graduation, all students come out of the Communications Media Department with valuable professional experience upon entering a competetive job market.
