What is a PRAXIS?

PRAXIS is the national teacher examination that is most widely used in the United States. Many school districts require teachers to report their scores on this test as part of the application process. The PRAXIS examination consists of general items about teaching and learning as well as specialty areas, such as mathematics, or early childhood.
