Audio Input


First you must record your audio.  Below is a list of directions on how to download audio from a source.  If you already have your audio downloaded, then go to the bottom of the page where you will receive instructions on how to insert Audio into your Portfolio.


 

1.  First, you must decide where you will record your audio from.   Being either a CD or using the microphone. 

 

 

 

The CD will be placed in the CD-ROM which is located  on the front of the computer tower.

The microphone is located on the right side of the computer tower.

2.  The software that you will be dealing with is Microsoft's Sound Recorder. The icon should be found on your computers desktop.  Click on it to open the program.

3.  The Sound Recorder window will appear. 
     -Begin by clicking the Record button
     -Then begin speaking into the microphone or            playing your CD
     -When finished, click the stop button
     -To hear the recorded message, click the play          button

In order to save memory, it is best to keep the message under 30 seconds

4.  To save the message:
     -Click on File/Save As
     -Choose the location where you want the file saved          to
     -Name your file
     -Click Save

To insert your Audio CLICK on Insert and scroll down to File:

Next select the File from where your image is located:
