Technology Committee

The IUP College of Education and Educational Technology (COE-ET) has maintained a formal college technology committee since the 1995-6 academic year. There were technology committees operating within the COE-ET prior to that time, but without the current budget and personnel support. The committee includes the Dean of the college, the Assistant Dean of Technology, one member officially selected by each academic department to represent it, COE-ET technology support representatives and other at large members who are self-nominated.

The Technology Committee is an advisory committee whose charge includes recommending policies and practices intended to ensure instructional technology is available to the faculty of the college and that the faculty receive the assistance they need to make best use of the available technology.
